Measles in the city

The city’s health department has confirmed that there have been at least 214 cases of measles in Brooklyn and Queens since October. This week, Rockland County has also claimed 33 more cases and declared a state of emergency.

Since the announcement, greater numbers of parents have been taking their kids to get the measles vaccine.
