LONG BEACH, NY — This Friday, we’re taking the PIX11 Morning Show on the road to Long Beach, zipcode 11561.

Below, take a look at some memorable moments from the show.

HOMETOWN HEROES: Meet pro-surfers Will and Cliff Skudin, who have brought their love of surfing to young students on Long Island.

SKUDIN SURF STARS: "The first day I ever surfed was one of the best days of my life. It's the closest you'll ever get to flying."

Meet Dylan, the 'Surfing Samurai' of the east coast. He discovered his love for the water after meeting Long Island pro-surfers Will and Cliff Skudin, and hasn't stopped chasing waves since.

DJ CHEF: It's all in the name! DJ Chef serves up an all around good times tunes and lobster mac n cheese.

RESTORING LONG BEACH: More than five years after Hurricane Sandy hit, the Long Beach boardwalk is once again a hot spot.

LUXURY ON LONG BEACH: The Allegria officers a unique, luxury beach getaway right on Long Island for a reasonable price.

BEACH BITES: Food trucks give beachgoers multiple options on bites to grab while hitting the waves and lounging in the sand. We hang out at the Neapolitan Express Food truck, the first eco-friendly truck in Long Beach, that uses clear energy fuels and organic ingredients. We also chat with the Bagel Cafe, which serves an assortment of bagels as well as sandwiches throughout the day.
