CENTRAL PARK — A 15-year-old boy fell into a pond in Central Park Monday afternoon, an FDNY official said.

The teenager fell in around 1:10 p.m., an FDNY spokesperson said.

He was walking on the ice of Swan Lake before he fell in, an NYPD spokesman said. No identifying information is available for the teen.

Two officers were nearby and rescued the teen, police said. He was taken to New York Hospital to be checked out.

Two teenagers also fell into an icy Central Park pond late Sunday. Seven teenagers also plunged into a pond in February after some ice cracked. Three people saw what happened and jumped in to save the teens.
