DELAWARE (PIX11) — A star of MTV’s “16 and Pregnant” was arrested for prostitution in Delaware on Thursday, according to Delaware State Police.

Fairman starred in the second season when she was just 15 years old and raising her newborn, Nevaeh. Fairman became popular on the show for multiple fights she had with her daughter’s father, according to TMZ.

Valerie Fairman, now 21, was arrested along with seven other women, as part of a multi-agency prostitution sting.

According to law enforcement, Fairman was in New Castle, Delaware, when she allegedly offered to perform a sexual act on an undercover officer in exchange for money.

State police said in a statement that the sting areas “were targeted in response to numerous citizen complaints of prostitution and other quality of life crimes that have been occurring.”

The Coatesville, Pennsylvania resident was issued a criminal summons for prostitution.

Also arrested were Brook Hatfield, 23, of Wilmington; Stephanie Brown, 26, of Newark; Dawn Price, 32, of Newark; Jaquya Fairley, 34, of New Castle; Lindsey Taylor, 30, of Newark; Kristina Weaver, 33, of New Castle; and Leslie Larkin, 54, of Wilmington.
