NEW YORK (PIX11) — There’s been yet another security change at the Statue of Liberty.

The Feds have agreed to switch security checks back to Battery Park in Lower Manhattan.

This comes after NYPD Commissioner Ray Kelly and Senator Charles Schumer called a plan to inspect visitors at Liberty and Ellis islands “unsafe.”
