Thursday at the White House, President Obama backed his embattled Attorney General.

Eric holder has been on the hot seat ever since it was discovered that the Justice Department secretly recorded the conversations of some reporters from the Associated Press.

President Obama says he makes no apologies because the recordings were in the name of national security and squashing government leaks.

Some members of the media have been calling for Holder’s firing.
