In SoHo, the days are numbered for the historic BP gas station at West Houston and Lafayette St.

The city’s Landmarks Preservation Commission has unanimously approved a plan to demolish it.

The bar Puck Fair may also find itself in the path of a wrecking ball, as the city tries to clear the way for the construction of seven stories of office and retail space.

Just last year the commission declared both part of SoHo’s historic district.
