PIX11– A Tunisian woman who bared her breasts in protest last month now says she fears for her life, according to the Associated Press.

In Facebook photos, the woman –known only as Amina– is seen with the words “My body belongs to me” written across her bare chest. Her acts were inspired by Femen, an Ukrainian organization that stages protests for women and gay rights.

The woman allegedly received death threats and went into hiding

She made an appearance Saturday on a French cable TV station Canal Plus saying, “I’m afraid for my life and the lives of my family.”
