New Rochelle man convicted of killing his young son

(New Rochelle, NY) A jury in New Rochelle has convicted a 32-year-old, Richard Leak, of killing his two-year-old son back in January 2011.

Prosecutors say Leak slammed his son against a hard surface with such force; it was as if he had been in a car crash.

Medical examiners reported that the toddler’s skull and ribs were fractured.

Richard Leak is awaiting to be sentenced on June 12th and faces up to 25-years in prison.
